REGISTRATION
Registration for the EFS16 Seminar is to be made electronically by completing the registration form provided on the EFS16 website (www.efs16.it). Registrations without full name, complete email, and postal address cannot be processed.
No registration will be confirmed until payment is received.
Within 15 days you will receive the invoice.
Online Registration:
Once you have registered you will receive an email summarizing your purchase from where you can download tickets to enter the seminar, gala dinner and guided tours and another email to set your account password. Once you have set your password you will be able to access the restricted area.
To access the restricted area Menu > Members Area > Login.
Once logged in in the drop-down menu you will find both Account Page and Logout button.
From your Account Page you can view your orders (click on View to view your complete order and download tickets to enter the seminar, gala dinner and guided tours), manage your billing address, and edit your password and account details.
REGISTRATION DEADLINES
Early Bird Registration Fee until April 10th, 2023 (23:59 CET)
Regular Registration Fee until June 5th, 2023 (23:59 CET)

- Admission to all Seminar sessions
- Coffee breaks and lunches from 12 to 15 June 2023
- Seminar materials
Registration fee does not include:
- Accommodation
- Gala Dinner on 14 June 2023

STUDENT REGISTRATION FEE
Student registration fee will be offered to students without any academic title and PHD student. The age limit for student registration is set at 35 years (incl. the age of 35).
We will require a proof of your student status and age; this will be a scan of your student identification card or passport or identity document together with a letter from your university (presentation letter); please, send the documents above no later than three days from the registration to segreteria@efs16.it.
In case these documents are not received, the registration fee will automatically be adjusted to a regular fee.
PAYMENT
All fees are to be paid in EUR (€).
Please note that currency exchange has to be paid by the participant.
PAYMENTS OPTIONS
- By Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron, American Express)
- By bank transfer: please observe the relevant registration deadlines. Registration fees depend on the date the payment is received in our account. Any bank charges incurred are to be paid by the participant.
Once the registration form is completed, a copy of the bank transfer should be sent by e-mail to segreteria@efs16.it as soon as possible and no later than three days from the registration. Bank transfer costs must be covered by the participants

FINAL INVOICE
All participants will automatically receive an official receipt.
An invoice, based on the details provided while registering will be issued as soon as possible from the date of payment verification.
CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER
Refund of registration fees will be made as follows
- Cancellations received on or before February 15, 2023: full refund less 60 Euro handling fee
- Cancellations received between February 16, 2023 to April 30, 2023: 50% refund
- Thereafter April 30, 2023: no refund
Cancellations and refund requests must be requested by e-mail to segreteria@efs16.it.
NAME CHANGES
Name changes will be treated like the cancellation of one registration and the new registration of another participant. New registration and payment are required.
CONFIRMATION
Each participant will receive the registration overview and email notification confirming the received payment and eventually state the amount outstanding after the compilation of the Online Registration Form.
Any replacement, changes or modification can be subject to a 60€ fee for administrative cost.
ACCOMPANYING PERSONS
Accompanying persons are not admitted to the Seminar. However, they can register and participate to the Gala Dinner and the Guided Tours.
FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
We would like to inform you that there may be filming and photography during the meeting. A photo gallery with all photos taken during the congress may be available to registered participants on the EFS16 website. In addition, photographs taken during the congress may be used for the society’s social media networks.
PERSONAL DATA
The participant is entitled to revoke his/her consent to the specific data processing at any time by writing to the congress secretariat (segreteria@efs16.it)
DATA PRIVACY
The European General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) entered into force as of 25 May 2018 and it involves some additions to data protection. We take your privacy very seriously and in order to comply with GDPR consent requirements, we need you to confirm that you agree with our new Privacy Policy during the process of on-line registration. EVENT(S)
A Gala Dinner and Guided Tours will be organized.
The participation to the Gala Dinner is open to Accompanying Persons.
Guided Tours will be organized only with a minimum of 20 participants. If the minimum number is not reached, the participants will be offered to participate to other Guided Tours or the payment will be refunded with no cancellation fee.
Sapienza Innovazione/EFS16 may not accept liability for personal injury, loss/damage to property, personal or otherwise belongings of participants and/or accompanying persons, either during or as a result of any events.
DISCLAIMER
Please note that in the event that the Seminar is cancelled by the organizers in case of “force majeure”[1] the registration fee and any other service ordered through the registration will not be refunded. Sapienza Innovazione and the organizers will make every endeavor to assist you in minimizing the consequences of such cancellation. Nevertheless, you may wish to insure yourself directly against such a risk.
[1] The term “Force Majeure” means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organizers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, natural disasters, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, labor strike, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organizers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.
INSURANCE
The registration fee does not include participant’s insurance against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.
